YOUR TASKS • Monitor and analyze the operational performance of pitch and yaw bearings in wind turbine applications • Investigate reliability metrics and field data to identify risks and improvement potential in bearing systems • Perform and develop root cause analyses for pitch and yaw bearing failures and deviations • Support the mechanical design of pitch and yaw bearings, including DFMEA, technical specifications, and validations • Contribute to supplier qualification and technical assessments for pitch and yaw bearing manufacturers • Collaborate with quality, design, and service teams to ensure stable bearing performance across the product lifecycle YOUR PROFILE • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable engineering discipline, or equivalent • At least five years of professional experience in the wind turbine industry with a focus on pitch and yaw bearings • Solid understanding of bearing design, reliability engineering, and mechanical analysis methods • Knowledge of quality assurance and problem-solving methodologies is an advantage • Experience working in international, cross-functional engineering teams with clear communication skills • Fluent English required, with German and/or Spanish skills considered a plus • Willingness to travel occasionally and able to manage technical topics in parallel with an analytical approach YOUR BENEFITS Nordex offers a range of attractive benefits – here’s a selection of what you can look forward to.
